~ The Ground Rules ~
- Your booking is accepted on a provisional basis until receipt of a deposit. The deposit is 20% of an estimate of the final bill or £1000 whichever is the greater and is non refundable. We recommend that all couples take out wedding insurance to cover un-foreseen circumstances.
- We require final payment a fortnight before the big day. A pro-forma invoice will be sent to you beforehand.
- Further items may be added to the main account on the day, such as a bar tab. The conditions for these arrangements should be made in advance and the account must be settled within 14 days of the wedding.
- The wedding breakfast/meal will consist of at least our 3 course Menu A. If you require a less extensive or fewer course option then you may incur room hire charges.
- Included in this menu cost is the use of the space your party has reserved for a six hour period. Should you wish to stay longer and are considering an evening event, then a buffet menu must be chosen at a minimum of £8.50 per person to avoid further room charges.
- There are setup charges involved with the provision of space for civil ceremonies, currently this charge is £175.00 for the Cae Glas room and £250.00 for the Fitzallan wing. You may wish to consider just organizing the seating in a proportion of the Fitzallan wing; this will reduce the charge to £175.00 as for the Cae Glas.
- We try to keep our pricing as straightforward as possible with no hidden extras and simple drinks packages. A major part of planning a wedding involves budgeting and the more organised ones amongst you like to plan for a wedding up to 2 years ahead. We can only quote for today’s prices and give an indication of possible increases. All prices are subject to rises in inflation and more important, changes in VAT.
- In line with government legislation, we are a non-smoking building.
- We welcome entertainment at The Walls, but request that you ask any bands or discos you have organised to be finished by 1pm. Last orders at the bar are 12.30 to 12.45.
