Described as the most exciting prospect out of Ireland since Van Morrison (Music Forum), CANDID Record’s latest signing, Cormac Kenevey, is a young Irish singer with a difference – his emotional range and rhythmic ability are matchless and, as a result, he has captivated audiences throughout Ireland. Already creating quite a stir amongst jazz fans and critics alike, his growing reputation as one of the brightest young stars of the big band jazz is certainly well deserved. Cormac is on tour promoting the launch of his incredible debut album ‘This is Living’.

At last after much gnashing of teeth and machinations of all kinds we are thrilled and relieved to announce our New Year’s programme for this season.
In the belief that on an evening like this you’d rather be thrilled than challenged in a gastronomic sense the menu is based purely on quality and not any complication.
THE NOD CORNER
The year’s star attraction, guaranteed to help you quickly work off all the celebratory calories, are the intriguingly ands obscurely named band, ‘The Nod Corner’.
Regular performers at well known venues like the Sun in Llangollen and at the international festivals, the band are talented exponents of Celtic rock. They perform memorable covers of bands such as The Waterboys, The Pogues and the Levellers, stirred up with dance tracks from bands such as REM.
They are a real fun act, who take their music and your entertainment seriously. They will be supported by a variety of surprise throughout the evening.
Tickets are £60.00 to include the food and entertainments package.
STOP PRESS: As an extra bit of fun we’re throwing in the chance to win a magnum of champagne and a magnum of claret for the best Shane McGowen look-alike!!
